Novgorod schoolchildren and students will compete in the humorous battle "Whisper of the Streets"
Today at 17:00 on the pedestrian Ilyina Street there will be a humorous battle "Whisper of the Streets". Its participants will be students of Novgorod State University and schoolchildren of Veliky Novgorod - members of the KVN movement.
— The event is unique in that we offer competitions that are unusual for our players and are not held within the framework of the student and school KVN leagues, — noted one of the leaders of the KVN movement of the Novgorod region, Evgeny Tishakov. — The Biathlon and Karapuli competitions are held by elimination, where the least funny ones are selected at each lap. In biathlon, the contestants voice text jokes, and in Karapuli, they do short remakes of famous songs. During the warm-up, each team asks a question to which the opponents must come up with a funny answer within a certain time. Also, if desired, the contestants will participate in a rap battle with members of other teams.
The humorous battle will be part of the NovSU festival "Wise Summer". In parallel, there will be an open master class on debates and a lecture "Challenges of modern marriage: what do men and women expect from a family in the 21st century?"
The battle starts at 17:00.
The event is being held as part of the governor’s project “Novgorod Summer”.
